Candiates and there 'Body Language"

It's what they are saying with other parts of their body, not just their mouth. Article below states some hints of interpretation from posture and body movements. (linked in title)

..... a system called Laban Movement Analysis can also explain what many American voters register only subconsciously when watching presidential candidates talk and move.

One example comes from how Sen. McCain and Sen. Obama take different approaches to gesturing. McCain uses directional gestures that suggest bridging a gap, while Obama's shaping gestures that suggest accommodation, the analysts say.

McCain also sometimes adopts a right-left style of walking where he shifts his weight - not unlike a cowboy swagger if taken to extremes, Studd noted. That contrasts with Obama's more centered movement where he swings the opposite arm with the opposite leg.

Obama's free flow approach may have its advantages, especially when it comes to public appearances where the candidates face hard questions.

"John McCain is ill at ease a lot, and Obama is rarely ill at ease although he's put on the spot," Bradley said. "John McCain sometimes looks like he's looking for the door, so he needs to work on that."

I wonder if they can tell who I'm voting for by my body language....

Then how do you explain the idiot that has run the country into the ground over the last 8 years? Sorry, did I over analyze? I think voice plays a big part, how else do you explain a CIC that sounds like Buddy Ebsen?

Read Dubya's body language and there you have it! hehe

Voice plays the biggest part my friend, as words are powerful, but we are dealing with politicians so we have to try to find alternate ways of interpreting their true message.

You Americans sure over-analyze your candidates – all that never-ending campaigning stuff. Why don’t you just vote for the one that’s not an idiot this time and all will be well.

Well cuz they are both idiots!

Ok, I don't know, McCain had to endure what most of us can;t even imagine and survived and moved on, many did not and I can fully understand why. Worked as a volunteer in a military critical care unit in '71, I was only 19 and so where the patients flown in from Vietnam. So I know a little about this horror of a war.
I would think McCain has more experience, courage and insight than this young guy. Smooth talk is nice but it does not demonstrate intelligence. I think the US want this young Kennedy look again, McCain has to put up with 'he looks to old etc...' from reporters. What he went through would make anyone look older and perhaps wiser...But then again who remembers the Vietnam war when a lot of soldiers are the homeless men we see...
ok do not be hard on me, i just remember how it was.
